When your personal life and professional life meet in the most poignant way. My oldest daughter and I adventured south last week to one of Oregon’s oldest bridges (built in 1916) to take her senior pictures. This was such an easy, fun and emotional shoot. I’m so proud of the young woman she has grown into. Emerson is incredibly responsible, kind, sweet and empathetic. She’s passionate about dance, animals (especially cats & horses) and her education. She’s been in ballet for almost 15 years now and it’s hard to believe we’re staring down her last year doing the Nutcracker. I know this will be a bittersweet year for me as I watch her prepare to leave the nest because but I also know that she is ready and excited for her future.
