Meet Nicole

Welcome to Nicole Hart Photography! I'm so glad you have found your way to my website. 2022 marks 10 years for my little business and I'm so grateful for your support!

I've been married 15 years to my wonderful husband and we have two amazing girls. We both grew up in the Portland area and love raising our girls in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. My journey to photography started like a lot of others - when I became a mom. I always loved taking pictures but I actually didn't even ask for my first "big girl" camera! My husband surprised me with one for Christmas. I worked as a television producer before I went off to do photography so the art of telling stories and searching for visual impact is engrained in who I am.

I realize that one day my photos will be used to tell your family's story and I am honored each and every time someone asks me to shoot for them.

A few things about me; I love coffee, cats (so many cats. I think I'm either a cat whisperer or I'm destined to become a crazy cat lady but I'm embracing it), I enjoy running especially when I can drag my oldest daughter with me, the smell of fresh rain in the spring and I love to bake with my girls. Pumpkin bread is our specialty. I'm a bit of a movie & history buff and could get lost in a bookstore. I really love to travel & explore new places and have been fortunate enough to see several corners of the world. My husband is also an airline pilot so travel is part of our family fabric.
