Maternity | Katie & Bryston
Being a photographer is so much more than just shooting pictures. It’s really about documenting moments of history; freezing a family’s story even just for a minute. It’s a job that Iย am incredibly grateful for and so humbled to do. I am so honored by the families who let me in and share their stories with me – life’s ups and downs.
I have been lucky enough to grow close to Katie and Bryston over the years and was heartbroken to hear (& sharing here with their permission) that Bryston has been battling cancer for several months. When I saw them last fall, he was in the clear but unfortunately he had a recurrence in January and started 9 weeks of chemo. Now with just a few short weeks until baby number two arrives, Bryston is cancer free and looks as healthy and strong as ever. ย I’m so happy that this family is on the other side of this health scare and focused now on new beginnings including the birth of their baby girl in just a few short weeks.
